ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES: To conduct research, collecting and assimilating data and interpreting it in order to identify changes and forecast market trends and conduct feasibility studies on new investment opportunities to support the Group\xe2\x80\x99s investment strategies and business direction. \xe2\x80\xa2 Primarily, to provide market intelligence and other information on competitors and potential clients in the building, infrastructure, oil & gas and power sectors or any other new business for benchmarking purposes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collect and analyze data through modern and traditional methods on consumers, competitors and the marketplace. \xe2\x80\xa2 Devise, design, and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses for customized market research projects and identify opportunities for new business. \xe2\x80\xa2 Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text and presentable results. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactively share and present market research reports and data analysis throughout the organization. \xe2\x80\xa2 Make recommendations for feasible methods for market penetration. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist with strategic planning and input to the business plan. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop strong partnerships with internal cross-functional team, clients, partners and consultants to raise the Company profile. \xe2\x80\xa2 To identify opportunities to submit tenders for projects at local and federal levels. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the tendering team and ensure that new projects are secured for the Company. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform any other duties as directed from time to time as required by Management.
