Malaysia and APAC Export Markets responsible for management of demand forecasting
and supply processes to support the achievement of sales objectives and department
scorecard in the most efficient and cost effective manner.Responsibility areas :
Demand Forecasting (KPI - FC Accuracy)
xe2x96xaa Responsible to provide monthly article baseline forecast to respective Country Sales
and alignment of forecast with market owner and market strategy.
xe2x96xaa Perform analysis on demand trending and FC development. Actively monitoring open
order development against demand & sales. Review FC on article & product group level
and adapt APO DP demand FC accordingly on weekly basis.
xe2x96xaa Coordinating different FC estimations between Salesforce and an own evaluation
and/or strategic goals to ensure a consistent FC.
xe2x96xaa Prepare FC accuracy analysis per market & product group under individual planner's
responsibility, and submit on time.
Forecast Confirmation (KPI - Confirmed Demand %)
xe2x96xaaUpdate weekly PSI; follow up shortage articles with related plants; responsible to
ensure achievement of acceptable confirmed demand % using PSI format.
xe2x96xaa Check and ensure system replenishment plan (up to 12 weeks) to RDCs are as per FC
split.
xe2x96xaa Monitor plan supply versus actual supply from plants, follow up on shortfall and
highlight to Country Sales and Stock Mgt. team if there is any major supply shortfall.
Management of articles Phasing In/Out and Promotion
xe2x96xaa Provide regular updates to Country Sales on SOPs/availability dates for new articles.
xe2x96xaa Alignment of FC for all phase-in and phase-out articles on changes in SOPs.
xe2x96xaa Make random checking on open order and advise COD to change order RDD or delete
order (if necessary) for phase in and phase out articles according to latest SOPs.Stock Management (KPIs - Inventory Turns, Customer Service Level & Slow/Dead stock

xe2x96xaa Work out articles' Safety Stock Level for RDCs. Analysis & highlight safety stock level
on quarterly basis for high FC error articles including Safety Stock Level for phase in &
phase out articles.
xe2x96xaa Identify slow/dead stock by RDCs.
xe2x96xaa Ensure month end and year end inventory target is achieved by pro-actively monitoring and push inventory structure.FC Systems Handling (APO DP & MADA)
xe2x96xaa Check MADA parameters regularly and ensure setting are as per agreed
replenishment strategy for RDCs.
xe2x96xaa Check and ensure APO DP data is updated, highlight on any irregularities.
Data Analysis & Reporting
xe2x96xaa Support request from Plant Operation, Market Distribution or Market Demand on data
request or data analysis as and when required.
xe2x96xaa Review monthly KPI reports for markets & product group responsible. Prepare
findings based on tracking reports and investigation.
Others
xe2x96xaa Provide support and training of Forecasting related matter to the Sales/COD team
when necessary
xe2x96xaa Make some customer visit with Sales team to understand customer needs and
market problems.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain
Experience: Prior demand planning experience is added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Knowledge of SAP APO module
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
