About our client:
A British B2B global market leader is hiring a Market Strategy Planning Manager to lead it\'s growth in Malaysia.
Job responsibilities:
Lead market strategy & planning for Beauty category for Malaysia market to deliver growth & drive thought leadership on procurement acquisition activities across all channels
Proactively share any updates and bridge the beauty industry trend, needs and insight from key buyer with Company\xe2\x80\x99s beauty portfolio stakeholders.
Identify, define & develop \xe2\x80\x9cWhere to Play\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cHow to Win\xe2\x80\x9d strategies across different channels and enable sales team with trade marketing programs
Translate Global & APAC Regional Category Vision and Strategies into local by Channel/Customer Go-To-Market strategies. Lead local category commercial/competitor landscape analysis, define by channel \xe2\x80\x9cFit to Win\xe2\x80\x9d elements/key business drivers.
Gather market intelligence and research data to gain market insights about buyer sourcing needs and trends to design go-to-market campaign strategy to reach out potential high-quality buyers
Create & deploy Selling/Marketing Materials to enable Sales Team to sell with Data & Winning Concepts
Serve as Category Expert/Consultant with key customers to lead/facilitate selling and execution of critical Trade Marketing/Sales Plans. Lead innovation roadshows/engagements to excite customers/buyers on vision/strategies/new launches.
Collaborate with brand team to partner with media agency partners to drive holistic growth for brands with key customers via PR event launches, digital marketing campaign, CRM programs, etc.
Be the strategic partner and advisor to the key buyers, go beyond to discover their sourcing needs and requirements. Retain and nurture those key relationships over time strategically
What you need to succeed:
Proven track record in functions across either Sales/ Business Development/ Procurement Strategy/ Account Management.
Exposure to Beauty Care and Cosmetics products would be a major plus.
Must be able to converse fluently in Mandarin and English.
Experience with using CRM Softwares i.e. Salesforce would be advantageous.
