Reporting to the Marketing Manager (Philippines & Malaysia) and working on a daily basis with Robert Walters SEA marketing team, the role of Marketing Assistant (Malaysia) is a broad and varied role suited to a marketer who likes fast-paced environments, and has a diverse skill set to balance all aspects of the role, from executing qualitative marketing campaigns or events, to engaging daily with the local recruitment and management teams, to addressing key business issues from a marketing perspective.

BRAND AWARENESS

• Execute global and regional marketing campaigns and take part in the creation of local marketing campaigns in line with the business strategy in Malaysia using a range of channels including events, social, digital, PR and advertising
• Assist to research and prepare thought leadership content that positions Robert Walters Group as a best-in-class recruitment partner and forward-thinking employer. These include: surveys, whitepapers, Salary Survey, senior management speeches etc
• With help from the Digital Marketing Executive (SEA)/Senior Content Executive (SEA) and using the tools Siteimprove, Google Analytics, Orlo and Adobe AEM, create content with a focus on SEO and social to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to RW Malaysia website.
• Provide regular reporting on the success of brand awareness & PR initiatives to measure the effectiveness of campaigns

LEAD GENERATION

• Use our marketing software Adobe Marketo and Momentum to execute lead generation campaigns through mailers, social sponsored campaigns, webinars or other innovative channels, with an objective to increase job flow from new clients, applications from new candidates or applications from potential recruitment consultants
• Use our in-house CRM Zenith to create saved searches on specific criteria and extract lists to be used in marketing campaigns
• Engage regularly with the recruitment and management team on the follow-up of sales qualified leads generated by marketing campaigns
• Assist the Digital Marketing Executive (SEA) in launching Google AdWords trial in Malaysia
• Use PowerBI marketing reporting to report on the success of lead generation initiatives through KPIs such as client meetings, job leads or placements

CLIENT/CANDIDATE RELATIONSHIP & SALES SUPPORT

• Schedule and execute corporate events for consultants to regularly meet with strategic clients/candidates. Source for suitable event partners and suppliers as well as external speaking opportunities for RW Malaysia.
• Using the full Adobe design suite, lead the design and production of key marketing materials and videos to support sales, aligned to the Robert Walters style guide and upcoming refreshed brand guidelines in 2023.
• Deliver Robert Walters advertising solutions for clients, report on the ad solutions sales and assist the Marketing Manager (Philippines & Malaysia) with market intelligence proposals.
• Produce Hot Jobs videos to ensure consultants are receiving applications from social media

EMPLOYER BRANDING

• Work with group marketing on creating EVP campaigns to help the business identifying qualified potential recruitment consultants
• Organise PRC events and communicate on RW Malaysia ACE programme to help the business securing more hires

ADMIN

• Assume responsibility for our applicant tracking system Broadbean, by supporting RW Malaysia consultants in publishing ads, adding/deleting users, granting ad posting credits and troubleshooting posting or access issues on a weekly basis
• Use Broadbean, LinkedIn, PowerBI and Zenith to generate weekly/monthly reporting on the usage of sourcing tools and visibility of RW job ads on web platforms

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in marketing / communication
• At least 2 years of experience in B2B marketing (events, social, digital, PR\xe2\x80\xa6) preferably with recruitment firms or consultancy firms.
• Full proficiency in spoken and written English is a must, to be able to engage easily with the SEA marketing team and creating content and campaigns in English.
• Full suite of Adobe marketing software (CMS Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Marketo Engage, Momentum, full Adobe design suite)
• Applicant tracking systems (Broadbean, in-house CRM Zenith)
• Social and website tools (Orlo social scheduling, SEO with Siteimprove, Google Analytics)
• Full suite of Microsoft software (PowerBI, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint, OneNote, Outlook /Word /Excel /PowerPoint)
