Internship Overview:

Urban Farm Tech is looking for a passionate and creative Marketing & Content Creation Intern to support our digital marketing efforts and grow awareness around sustainable urban farming. As part of the team, you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, visual design, and brand storytelling while contributing to meaningful projects that empower schools, communities, and future farmers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation Support

Assist in creating engaging social media content (posts, videos, stories, reels) for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Participate in content planning and brainstorming sessions aligned with our monthly campaigns.

2. Design & Visual Assets

Help design basic graphics, posters, flyers, and banners using tools like Canva or Adobe Express.

Ensure visuals follow brand guidelines and have an eye-catching, clean layout.

3. Photography & Videography (Basic)

Join on-site farm events and activities to take photos or short videos for documentation and promotional purposes.

Assist in editing videos for short-form content or social media highlights.

4. Social Media Scheduling

Assist in scheduling posts and tracking engagement using social media tools.

Help maintain a content calendar to keep campaigns organized and timely.

5. Collaboration & Communication

Coordinate with sales and operations teams to capture content and testimonials from real projects.

Support outreach efforts to respond to online inquiries or direct messages.

6. Marketing Campaign Support

Contribute ideas for ongoing or upcoming campaigns (e.g., CSR events, workshops, educational programs).

Assist with event promotions, email blasts, or simple copywriting tasks.

7. Market & Trend Research

Keep up with the latest trends on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms for content inspiration.

Research competitors, keywords, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field.

Basic skills in Canva or any graphic design software.

Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).

Creative mindset and a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Interest in sustainability, agriculture, or community-based work is a plus.
