Link 2 Link Asia Pacific is a leading distributor of premium pet food and pet care products across Asia. We represent high quality pet brands such as Aatas Cat, NUTRIPE, SoulMate Pet Food, and more. With a growing footprint in Malaysia, we are looking for a dynamic and independent Marketing Executive / Manager to build brand presence, drive retail support, and execute locally relevant campaigns.
Key Responsibilities (Malaysia-Focused)
Retail & Offline Marketing
Develop and execute trade marketing strategies tailored to Malaysian retailers and distributors.
Adapt and create POSM materials such as wobblers, shelf talkers, standees, posters, window decals, and e-banners for partner use.
Work closely with local sales and retail partners to coordinate promotions, displays, and launches.
Social Media & Content Creation
Localise and execute content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok with a focus on pet trends, festive seasons (e.g., Raya, Merdeka, CNY), and engaging pet-owner content.
Create short-form visual content using Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Manage the monthly content calendar, ensuring it aligns with product launches, promos, and local relevance.
Influencer & Community Marketing
Identify and collaborate with local pet influencers and micro-creators for seeding campaigns, pet food reviews, and sponsored posts.
Coordinate product giveaways and drive community engagement with pet lovers.
Track influencer output and engagement performance for internal reporting.
Coordination & Localisation
Liaise with Singapore HQ to align visuals and messaging with the regional brand direction while adapting for Malaysia's market needs.
Work with local vendors on print production specs, timelines, and distribution of physical marketing materials.
Support planning and execution of roadshows, sampling events, and exhibitions when required.
Optional: E-Commerce Exposure
While not a primary focus, having experience in Shopee or Lazada is a plus -- e.g., supporting e-banner design, platform campaigns, and promotions.
Awareness of digital selling trends and Malaysia's online shopping behaviour is beneficial.
Admin & Reporting
Maintain trackers for campaign rollouts, content engagement, and retail activation performance.
Submit monthly reports summarising key activities, highlights, and learnings.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in FMCG, pet, retail, or lifestyle marketing roles.
Strong visual communication and hands-on design execution skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, CapCut).
Deep familiarity with the Malaysian market -- festivals, digital behaviour, and pet community dynamics.
Comfortable working independently with regional guidance.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
Knowledge of printing specifications, POSM requirements, and influencer outreach.
Experience in Shopee/Lazada, TikTok Business Suite, or Wix/WordPress is a bonus.
