Job Description

Purpose of the Role:



To plan, execute, and monitor marketing strategies that promote the company's travel packages, enhance brand visibility, and increase customer engagement and bookings across both domestic and international destinations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Marketing Planning & Strategy



Assist in developing and implementing annual and monthly marketing plans for travel packages, promotions, and events. Conduct market research on travel trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings. Identify potential markets and develop targeted campaigns to attract new travelers.

2. Digital & Social Media Marketing



Manage and grow the company's presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Create engaging travel-related content (photos, videos, reels, captions) to promote destinations and deals. Run and monitor online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) to generate leads and conversions. Handle website updates, SEO, and email newsletters to boost visibility and customer reach.

3. Promotional Campaigns & Partnerships



Coordinate travel fairs, roadshows, and booth events (e.g., MATTA Fair). Develop seasonal promotions and early bird offers to attract customers. Build partnerships with hotels, airlines, and tourism boards for joint marketing initiatives.

4. Branding & Collateral



Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials and channels. Prepare brochures, flyers, banners, and videos for both online and offline use. Work with creative designers, photographers, and videographers to produce professional marketing assets.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting



Analyze marketing campaign performance (ROI, engagement, inquiries, conversion rates). Prepare monthly marketing reports and propose data-driven improvements. Monitor competitor activities and market positioning.

6. Teamwork & Coordination



Collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to align marketing strategies with sales targets. Support the tour team with promotional materials for upcoming packages or new destinations. Provide assistance during on-ground marketing events and client engagement activities.

Requirements:



Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Tourism, Mass Communication, or related field. 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality. Strong knowledge of social media trends and digital advertising tools. Creative storytelling skills with a passion for travel and destinations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is an added advantage. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus). Willing to travel occasionally for work or marketing events.
