The Marketing Lead is responsible for guiding the marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans, and building awareness and positioning for the company\'s brands to drive brand success and achieve market share, revenue and profit objectives. This role is central to the entire marketing and needs to be highly collaborative and work closely with key stakeholders.
YOUR MAIN FOCUS :Marketing Plan and P&L
Plan, develop and implement marketing strategies, business plans, forecasts, marketing communication
Develop and implement the annual country marketing plan/budget and P&L.
Direct the development of launch plans and channel plans in line with the annual planning cycle, including quarterly revisions in line with corporate requirements.
Direct the ongoing and launch forecasting activities of the brand teams in line with the monthly forecasting cycle across categories to ensure defined service levels and inventory targets are achieved.
Lead, coordinate and monitor the implementation of brand marketing plans to deliver budgeted profit, sales, market share and other key brand health indicators.
Media, Digital and PR
Develop media plans at the country level in line with category media strategy and brand license requirements where applicable and be responsible for the allocation and management of the media budget.
Develop the digital marketing plan in line with the digital marketing strategy for the category and license requirements where applicable.
Develop and manage strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with external agencies and manage key advertising programs with media partners at a strategic level.
Direct the development of PR strategy and collaborate with the PR team to ensure the most effective tailoring of PR strategy to the local market in line with global requirements.
Retailer Relations/ Placement
Lead and direct the development and delivery of strategy presentations and special project presentations to key accounts in conjunction with the Commercial Excellence team.
Work closely with the Commercial Excellence team to develop channel specific sales strategies and monitor execution ensuring alignment with global category objectives.
Operational
Lead and direct the operational activities of the brand marketing teams and coordinate team efforts for the achievement of short and long term business objectives.
Direct the brand teams in the evaluation of customer research, market conditions and competitor data to evaluate brand activity and develop strategies and communications across brands and categories.
Direct the brand teams in the planning and implementation of new launches in line with cost, time, in-store effectiveness and other key objectives.
Direct the efficient coordination of merchandising solutions in line with global and local requirements, including global stand directions, planograms and training activities.
Ensure all marketing spend, accounting and administration procedures are strictly adhered to as per company policy and ensure consistent application of cost control policies for direct and indirect expenses on a national basis.
Relationship Management
Collaborate with the Commercial Excellence Lead in the development of strong relationships with key retailers at senior levels across all channels and conduct high level negotiations to deliver necessary outcomes.
Cultivate effective working relationships with functional heads and partner with the leadership team to support the delivery of overall business success.
Liaise and network across the broader Coty marketing organisation regionally and globally to develop functional networks and leverage best practices.
Provide high level representation at meetings and conferences, including at both external customer, supplier, trade and industry meetings, and internal Coty regional and global meetings.
People Leadership
Lead, develop and manage the marketing team, inspire confidence and positively motivate the team to deliver a high standard of team performance.
Coach and develop teams and individuals towards the fulfilment of personal and business objectives, both informally, and formally in line with the Coty Performance Management Program (PMP).
Recruit, develop, retain and rotate top talent.
Take ownership and drive the short, medium and long term career planning and development plans for all people in the department.
Identify key people in the department who are able to assume broader challenges and be an advocate for them on advancement opportunities.
Host marketing team meetings and development activities, to promote a high level of employee engagement and team success.

Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Management and/or Marketing (or related/equivalent discipline)
At least 10-12 years Marketing experience in Beauty and/or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry
At least 5 years of people management (Possesses leadership skills and ability to build and maintain a team)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
In-depth knowledge of market research
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently (Goal Oriented)
Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
