Role Overview
We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to own and accelerate our growth engine. At this stage, the role is designed as an individual contributor with full end-to-end ownership -- you'll be directly designing and running scrappy experiments, navigating high ambiguity, and driving real impact with minimal direction. You'll partner across product, design, data, and engineering to translate ambitious goals into high-impact campaigns. As the company grows, there will be opportunities to expand the scope into building and leading a team.
Your Responsibilities

• Strategy & Experimentation: Define and prioritise a backlog of marketing experiments (A/B tests, pilots, messaging tweaks), craft clear hypotheses and metrics, and iterate quickly.
• Campaign Planning & Execution: Build and run campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels, managing briefs, creative direction, timelines, and budgets.
• Data & Optimisation: Monitor MQL, CAC, LTV, and conversion funnel metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend scalable solutions. Maintain dashboards and reports.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product and engineering on feature launches, partner with sales to turn leads into pipeline, and integrate user feedback from customer success.

Who You Are

• First and foremost, you're an anime or manga lover. You get the culture, the memes, the hype, and you're excited to channel that passion into bold marketing campaigns for the fandom.
• 4+ years in B2B or consumer marketing, ideally in a startup environment
• Proven record of designing, running, and scaling marketing experiments
• Self-starter with high agency and comfort navigating ambiguity
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar
