Marketing - Together with the Head of Marketing to set the strategic direction on marketing plans that include advertising, promotions, public relations and direct marketing. - Recommended and implement innovative marketing promotional activities which appeal to customers. - Together with the Head of Marketing to lead and guide Marketing executive for development and implementation of joint promotions, working closely with partners to achieve the marketing objectives. - Manage interfaces between the company and participating companies; suppliers, agencies, authorities and other partners in the business. - Consistent implementation of successful marketing activities that meets with the marketing business strategy, brand direction and planning. - Close coordination with various supports units of the Company (where relevant) and agency to achieve optimum advertising, promotions and public relations level and standards that are relevant to MBO Cinemas. Sales & Profitability - To assist Head of Marketing and Operation Department for conceptualization of corporate sales activities. - To channel hall rental and bulk purchase enquiries / orders to Operations Department to generate additional footfalls and income. Market Analysis - Proactive analyzing and understanding information on customers demographic profile, and preference or interest after each activity in order to achieve better result for upcoming activities. - Preparation of monthly report on competitor?s activities, market trends, etc., in order to stay active and alert towards current and future trend. Measurement - To gather with the Marketing Executive to maintain complete records of each promotion and marketing event. This includes Cinema Manager feedback, photographic records and media clippings. - Weight the result of past promotions and recommend changes to ensure implementation of future plans via preparation of reports and analysis. - The demonstration of accuracy, thoroughness & reliability, consider organization, presentation, completeness & appearance of work. Time Management - Ensure timely co-ordination and implementation of all communication materials for all the locations as per the planned marketing activities. - Performance of tasks must be completed within the specified time to ensure the smooth implementation of the marketing programs. Cost Consciousness - Appreciating cost factors & being alert to ways of reducing cost. Also seeking best use materials, equipment or staff to maximize efficiency & effectiveness. Communications - The extent to which he/she effectively conveys & receives ideas, information & direction, and seek to clarify and confirm the accuracy of their understanding of unfamiliar or vogue terms and instructions. - Consider clarity of oral & written communications to all internal and external customers. Job Requirements: - Minimum 5 years' experience in in consumer sales, marketing or agency environment. - Experience in the entertainment industry will be an added advantage. - Leadership ? creates a shared vision and passion for his/her group or business area and motivate others to work towards it. - Creative ? strong analytical mind and think ?out-of-the-box? to find innovative marketing solutions. - Knowledge ? strong understanding of the market landscape and customers segments. - Tenacity ? strong persuasive/negotiating skills. - Meticulous ? highly organized and capable of covering priorities at work at the same time overseeing the daily operations. - Active listening - Giving full attention to the creative brief, taking time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate. - Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of other?s reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
