Technical SEO Audit & Handling: Be responsible for technical SEO audits, including conducting regular site analysis using tools like Google Search Console, and proactively identifying and handling technical issues (e.g., crawl errors, broken links, indexing problems, structured data errors).
Cross-Site Improvement: Find technical and content improvement opportunities across the entire website structure, aiming for cleaner architecture and enhanced user experience that benefits SEO.
2. Content Strategy & Platform Ownership
Competitive Analysis & Keyword Research: Conduct competitive analysis and comprehensive keyword research, focusing on intent mapping and identifying content gaps relative to top competitors and market trends.
Content Strategy Planning: Plan content strategy focusing on a mix of trending (timely) and evergreen (long-lasting) topics to ensure continuous traffic growth and sustained authority.
SEO Content Ownership: Take ownership of all aspects of SEO content on the Shopee platform, ensuring all product listings, category pages, and editorial content adhere to high SEO standards before publishing.
3. Performance Monitoring & AI Adaptation
Performance Tracking: Continuously monitor and track SEO performance metrics (organic traffic, keyword rankings, visibility, and click-through rate) and report on the impact of implemented changes.
AI Tool Utilization: Utilize AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to assist with repetitive tasks, draft meta descriptions, and summarize long-form content, while conducting thorough human Quality Assurance (QA) to maintain E-E-A-T.
AI Overview Adaptation: Adjust content structures (e.g., using definitive answers, clear FAQs, and structured data) to maximize the chance of appearing in AI Overviews and position our content as the authoritative source
Data Analysis: Assist in generating weekly and monthly performance reports, interpreting data to identify trends, and suggesting actionable optimizations.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor search strategies (both paid and organic) to identify new opportunities.
Requirements :
Preferably possess 1-2 years of hands-on and proven SEO experience
SEO experience working with financial industry websites is a bonus
Deep understanding of how search engines work, especially content-related factors (EEAT, Helpful content)
Experience in SEO related tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, ScreamingFrog, Google Adwords - Keyword Planner and other SEO tools
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and WordPress platform is a plus
Experience with the use of AI and prompt engineering for SEO
