Job Summary



We are seeking a skilled Marketing Specialist (Chinese) to support the development, execution, and optimization of regional marketing campaigns and strategies tailored to the Chinese market. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement localised marketing plans, manage regional promotional activities, and ensure campaigns are culturally relevant and impactful. You will conduct market research to provide insights on consumer behaviour and competitive landscape, while also overseeing the translation and localization of creative assets. Additionally, you will track and report on regional campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimise future initiatives.


Key Responsibilities



Regional Campaign & Planning




Support the development and implementation of region-specific marketing plans aligned with broader brand or national strategies. Ensure timely execution of local promotions, events, field marketing, community outreach, and regional adaptations of larger campaigns. Maintain and coordinate the regional marketing calendar, including promotional timelines, local launches, and field activations.

Market Research & Regional Insights




Gather and analyse regional market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activities to inform marketing tactics. Support local SWOT analysis and performance tracking to identify region-specific opportunities or challenges. Provide knowledge and recommendations on content, messaging, or campaign localization to align with cultural norms.

Asset & Translation Coordination




Oversee executional support for translation and localization of creative materials--including ads, emails, brochures--ensuring linguistic accuracy and regional appropriateness. Coordinate with translation vendors or local agencies, ensuring adherence to guidelines, brand tone, and regional stylistic consistency.

Reporting, Performance Tracking & Optimisation




Track and report on regional campaign metrics--such as lead generation conversion, engagement, sales uplift, or brand visibility across local initiatives. Contribute to performance reviews by compiling actionable insights and supporting optimization recommendation



Qualifications and Skills




Proven experience in regional or market-specific marketing, ideally with a focus on China or the Chinese-speaking market. Deep understanding of Chinese client behaviour, regional preferences, and cultural nuances, with the ability to adapt messaging accordingly. Ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns aligned with broader national or brand strategies, while tailoring tactics for regional success. Strong organisational abilities to manage the regional marketing calendar, track timelines, and coordinate field activations, promotions, and local launches. Experience in translation and localisation of marketing materials, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and brand consistency. Strong ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics, including lead generation, engagement, and sales uplift, with a focus on actionable insights for optimisation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
