Job Description


Purpose:The Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales and marketing efforts of Zurich Malaysia within the insurance industry. This position involves strategic planning, project management, and meticulous execution to enhance customer experience and support business growth according to the company\'s goal and vision.Key Accountabilities:1. Account Management / Relationship Management:
a) Manage relationships with key accounts and digital partners, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
b) Coordinate/cooperate with partners on customized marketing strategies and campaigns tailored to meet the needs of each account.
c) Provide necessary support in the onboarding of new digital partners/agents.
d) Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to foster collaboration and drive mutual business objectives.
e) Provide training to digital agent/partner on products and services and ensuring agent/partner fulfill the regulatory CPD requirements.
f) Oversee and monitor the partners account to ensure prompt collection and payment including reconciling any differences.2. Project Management:
a) Prepare the business case to support any new projects/initiatives.
b) Coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, requirement, and objectives.
c) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Underwriting, Product Proposition, Finance, Claims, Underwriting Services, and IT, to execute any marketing/product initiatives or any enhancement.
d) Prepare the business requirements, test script, conduct user acceptance testing.
e) Perform post launch review including any error troubleshooting and sales and profit performance.
f) Conduct any operational briefings to internal stakeholders prior to the launch of any new initiative/products.3. Sales Management:
a) Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify strategic opportunities for growth.
b) Develop innovative marketing strategies that align with business goals and differentiate Zurich Malaysia in the marketplace.
c) Support new business initiatives, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives.4. Data Management/Reporting Requirement
a) Perform any ad-hoc monthly reporting and partnership/project updates.
b) Ensure cleanliness of data received, work with internal/external stakeholders to troubleshoot the data errors.
c) Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices in data management.5. Operational Management
d) Analyse the existing process, design or redevelop processes within the department to improve better customer experience.
e) Proactively identify and resolve operational or technical issues within the department.
f) Supporting role to the day-to-day operation work in the partnership teams including enquiries from customers/agents, policy processing and endorsement requests, quotation, referral cases, data management, payment, reconciliation of daily transaction. (Whenever necessary)In addition to your regular duties, you may be required to handle any ad-hoc tasks or assignments that arise as assigned by your hiring manager.Qualifications:1. Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Actuarial Science or any related field.
2. Fresh graduates or one to three years of relevant working experience.
3. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Possess high learning agility, strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
6. A team player and able to manage the internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Experience in sales support or sales enablement roles, or knowledge of the insurance products and industry regulations will be an added advantage.
