Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the marketing team and ensuring all tasks, campaigns, and content are executed smoothly and on schedule. This role involves coordinating communication between marketing, sales, and management, monitoring campaign performance, and guiding team members to maintain high-quality output. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of turning data and ideas into effective marketing initiatives.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or any related field.
1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
Hands-on experience or basic knowledge in Meta Ads / TikTok Ads is a strong advantage.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, guide, and support team members.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Creative, disciplined, proactive, and highly result-oriented.
Analytical mindset with the ability to read and interpret performance data (CTR, CPC, CPM, ROAS, engagement metrics).
Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, content formats, viral hooks, and competitor activity.
Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Workflow Management
Supervise, guide, and monitor daily tasks of the marketing team (content creators, designers, ad managers).
Plan weekly and monthly schedules to ensure all content and tasks are delivered on time.
Enforce workflow consistency, brand guidelines, and internal SOPs.
Train new marketing staff and ensure they understand the Mechanize branding, voice, and standards.
Coordinate closely with the Sales Team and Management to ensure alignment on priorities and campaigns.
2. Campaign & Content Execution
Execute and manage marketing campaigns across multiple platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Carousell.
Develop creative ideas, hooks, and concepts for videos, ads, visuals, and brand storytelling.
Work with the Sales Team to create high-converting ads based on trending inventory and best-selling units.
Maintain brand consistency in all visuals, captions, posting styles, and communication.
Ensure content quality is premium, modern, and aligned with Mechanize's brand identity.
3. Brand Strategy, Relevancy & Market Dominance
Develop strategies to strengthen Mechanize's brand reputation, trust, and authority in the used laptop market.
Ensure the brand remains relevant, modern, premium, and consistently visible to the public.
Lead initiatives that differentiate Mechanize from competitors (e.g., quality-process storytelling, warranty positioning, specialist advantage).
Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand market trends, pricing strategies, and content direction.
Propose monthly and quarterly branding activities to position Mechanize as the #1 Laptop Trade-In Specialist in Malaysia.
Explore new marketing opportunities, potential collaborations, influencers, and brand expansion channels.
Ensure Mechanize stays top-of-mind for customers through consistent messaging, strong content presence, and storytelling.
4. Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Track, analyze, and report performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPM, engagement rate, conversion rate) on a weekly basis.
Recommend improvements, optimization, and scaling opportunities based on data insights.
Identify top-performing content and replicate winning strategies.
Monitor cost efficiency of ads and overall return on marketing investment.
5. Brand Reputation & Customer Engagement
Maintain a positive brand image across all social platforms.
Monitor comments, reviews, and online engagements; escalate issues to management when necessary.
Ensure fast response times for customer inquiries on social platforms.
Develop educational content that helps customers understand the value and benefits of buying used laptops.
