Job Brief:As an intern, you\'ll be part of a dynamic team, handling agency applications, renewals, and cancellations. You\'ll ensure timely issuance of policies, respond to agents and customers, manage claims documents, and monitor payments. This role offers hands-on experience and a chance to grow your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment!Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing Agency Applications: Manage new agency applications and assist with renewal business, cancellations, and batching policies.
  • Communication: Respond to emails from agents and customers regarding policies or other issues.
  • Policy Management: Ensure all policies and endorsements are issued correctly according to underwriting guidelines and sent to agents promptly.
  • Claims Handling: Manage claims documents received from agents or walk-ins.
  • Payment Oversight: Monitor agents to ensure payments are received and collections are up to date.
  • General Assistance: Support additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
Job Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Finance, Communication).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
