At Arrowood, we believe great hospitality is the art of making people feel seen. Your internship is a safe space to practice that art through film and content so you leave more confident, more skilled, and more you. You'll learn to tell honest, premium stories that help hotels, teams, and communities flourish.
What You'll Do (Simple, human, and doable)
1. Learn the craft: shadow shoots, practice with camera & audio, and try simple edits with feedback.
2. Make short videos: 10-30s clips and 60-90s features that show real rooms, real people, real moments.
3. Write light copy: titles, captions and a friendly CTA for socials (TikTok, IG, LinkedIn, YouTube).
4. Support a content calendar: help plan what to film each week for Arrowood and partner hotels.
5. Be a great teammate: be on time, be kind and keep guests' privacy and our brand standards in mind.
6. Improve weekly: bring one thing you learned (or would change) to our Friday check-in.
What You'll Learn (Your growth is the goal)
1. How to plan a simple story: idea ? shot list ? film ? edit ? publish.
2. How to film confidently in a hotel without disrupting guests.
3. How to present your work, take notes with grace and iterate fast.
4. How hospitality brands (like Arrowood) speak with calm, trust and elegance.
Tools You'll Touch
1. Phone or mirrorless camera, basic mics and lights, CapCut or Premiere Pro, Google Drive, and AxtionApp for tasks and approvals.
How We'll Support You
1. Onboarding playbook (Week 1): camera basics, brand tone, privacy & consent.
2. Weekly coaching (30 mins): review your best clip and give one upgrade idea.
3. Feedback you can use: short, honest, kind and specific.
Who You Are
1. Mass Comm/Media/Film student (or fresh grad) who enjoys people and tidy edits.
2. You write simply, show up prepared and a person that has Grit (Passion x Perseverance). You're not a quitter! If you are, please ignore this ad.
3. Portfolio or class work welcome (even 2-3 clips are fine).
Practical Details
1. Duration: 3-6 months, full-time or student-friendly schedule.
2. Some shoots may be mornings or early evenings.
3. RM 1,000-RM 1,500 Allowance per month.
