Job Description

To ensure optimal production planning and scheduling, balancing demand and supply, inventory levels, and capacity constraints to meet delivery targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Master Production Planning (MPP)

Develop and maintain master production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and production capacity. Ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with inventory and procurement plans.

Material & Inventory Management

Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials and components are available for scheduled production. Monitor inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and prevent shortages.

Capacity & Resource Planning

Analyze production capacity and labor requirements. Adjust schedules proactively to optimize machine utilization and workforce productivity.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with production, warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment of schedules with business priorities. Communicate changes in schedules and resolve conflicts in production planning.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track production schedule adherence and delivery performance. Prepare reports on production status, delays, bottlenecks, and inventory metrics. Support continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and scheduling.

System & Process Management

Maintain accuracy of planning data in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE). Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning efficiency and responsiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field. 3-7 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management. Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and planning tools. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and coordination skills to work across multiple departments.

Working Conditions:

Office-based with regular coordination with production and warehouse teams. May require occasional overtime to resolve production or scheduling issues.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
