Requirements

• Good command of Mandarin (reading & writing); able to communicate in basic English and Malay.
• Proactive, strong teamwork spirit with good communication skills.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or procurement is an advantage; Diploma/Degree in related fields is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in material control, purchasing or warehouse management; manufacturing background is an added advantage.
• Familiar with purchasing processes, supplier management, inventory control and logistics coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in both production floor and warehouse environments; willing to work overtime and support stock-taking (OT allowance provided).
• Candidates with a valid forklift license will be given priority.
• Working Hours?Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and capability.

Responsibilities
1. Purchasing & Supplier Management

• Execute purchasing activities according to production requirements to ensure timely material delivery.
• Review quotations, perform price negotiations and support cost optimization.
• Monitor PO delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrival of materials.
• Maintain approved supplier lists and conduct supplier evaluation and performance reviews.
• Follow up on supplier quality issues and drive corrective action implementation.

2. Material Receiving & Warehouse Operations

• Perform material receiving, inspection, storage and issuance operations.
• Handle material returns and discrepancies in accordance with procedures.
• Update inventory systems and material records; conduct regular stock checks.
• Support annual stock-taking and audit activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Safely operate forklift for material handling and storage (if applicable).

3. Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Arrange daily shipment schedules and transportation.
• Monitor delivery status to ensure smooth dispatch and receiving.
• Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Manage returns, replacement materials and ensure timely resolution of material issues.

4. Inventory & Cost Control

• Coordinate inventory control activities to maintain safety stock levels.
• Analyze purchasing and logistics costs and propose improvement opportunities.
• Manage inventory structure to improve turnover rate and reduce obsolete/waste materials.
• Follow up on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

5. Data Management & Reporting

• Prepare purchasing, inventory and logistics reports to support management decision-making.
• Consolidate logistics data, perform trend analysis and prepare regular summaries.
• Prepare stock-taking records and discrepancy analysis with recommendations for process improvement.
• Support audit activities and improvement projects.
