Job Description

Key Responsibility

Supervise daily material control operations: receiving, storage, kitting, issuing, and line-side material delivery. Monitor and control inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock checks, and audits. Work with production planning and purchasing to ensure materials availability for SMT, THT, and assembly lines. Implement FIFO/FEFO and material traceability systems in compliance with ISO/EMS standards. Ensure proper handling of ESD-sensitive and moisture-sensitive components (MSD). Lead, train, and supervise material handlers, storekeepers, and line feeders. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and procurement on incoming/outgoing materials and shipments. Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on inventory levels, shortages, aging stock, and scrap. Identify and resolve issues related to shortages, excesses, obsolescence, and material discrepancies. Support cost reduction and lean initiatives (e.g., kanban, JIT, VMI systems). Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and regulatory requirements in material handling.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering (preferred). 3-5 years' experience in material control / warehouse / production planning, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role (EMS or manufacturing background is an advantage). Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiar with inventory control methods, lean manufacturing, and supply chain best practices. Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
