Job Description

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and transporting materials within the warehouse and production areas. Ensure safe handling of materials, avoiding damage, and always adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of inventory, including tracking incoming and outgoing goods using warehouse management systems. Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of forklifts to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient workflow and proper storage practices. Assist in warehouse housekeeping and ensure that storage areas are clean, organized, and comply with company standards. Report any operational or safety issues to the warehouse supervisor. Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Support stocktaking and inventory management activities.

Basic Qualifications

Education: SPM or Diploma Logistics or related field. Forklift certification from a recognized training institution is required. At least 2-3 years of experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse procedures. Ability to operate different types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck) as required. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, especially within manufacturing environments. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
