Job Description

Responsibilities :

Material Planning & Scheduling. Plan, schedule, and monitor the supply of materials to meet production requirements. Prepare material requirement forecasts based on production schedules and customer orders. Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to avoid material shortages or excess stock. Procurement Coordination. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any supply issues. Negotiate lead times and delivery schedules to support production needs. Inventory Management. Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost and availability. Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile variances. Implement inventory control measures to reduce wastage and obsolescence. Data & Reporting. Maintain accurate records of material transactions in the ERP/Inventory system. Prepare material planning reports for management review. Analyze usage trends to improve forecasting accuracy.

Skills & Requirements :

Requirements : Diploma and above Preferably 3-5 year(s) of working experience in related field (Sheet Metal Field will be advantageous). Required Language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (To communicate with Chinese customers) The ability to follow up issues independently with good communication skill Promote continuous improvement throughout the company.
