The Material Planner and Purchasing Executive will be responsible for the materials management activities. This person will be working closely with the Supply Chain HOD to ensure efficiency in their area of the company. Amongst the many responsibilities some are listed below:

• Constant communication/ negotiation with local and international suppliers.
• Prepare PR according to the company policies and procedures.
• Manage the ordering and open orders.
• Monitor deliveries of items to ensure on time delivery from suppliers to clients.
• Ensuring the supplier invoices matched with PO issued for account payable process and maintain a good records of purchased up to date for tracking purpose.
• Work closely with Production and Planning team for Manufacturing.
• Coordinating with Finance with issuance of CN/DN to suppliers if there is any stock return, shortage or defective.
• The control of exactness of the source document (drawing), do the starting on the base of correspondence with the supplier.
• Active observation of the Buyers market.
• To understand other buyers role and assist on the absence of the other buyers.
• Responsible for the buying of all parts needed for the daily operation of the company
• Responsible for the correct purchasing parameters, including price, in the ERP system.
• Complies monthly/weekly report of purchase, cost saving, supplier delivery performance, and report to direct superior.
• To carry out other duties or tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.
• Daily control of inventory

• At least a Bachelor degree
• Great negotiation skills, analytical view and proactive
• Team player while able to work independently
• Proficient in ERP AND Excel
