Lead

the team and oversee the functions of production planning and material control. Responsible for

capacity planning

and overall

production scheduling

based on demand from forecast to ensure supply capacity copes with forecast.

Material planning

from control of material flow to optimization of work processes and production capacity. Ensures material are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements , while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Control expensesand production efficiency through proper manpower scheduling and production plan.

Oversee the procurement process

, and plan and execute sourcing strategies that guarantees the best costs for goods and services for the company. Foster long-term relationships with

vendors and suppliers

who provide the best offers during supply chain procurement. Negotiate with existing and potential suppliers and review the present contracts to ensure the future scope of business for procurement and vendor management. Negotiate contracts and deals with sellers and distributors during procurement and management of goods and services. Boost

cost savings

by analysing market trends and technologies that promote it. Document, log and report on procurement activities. Approve purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.

Requirements :

5 years' experience in Production Planning and in Purchasing function from the metal stamping industry Negotiation Skills Knowledge of SAP system preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
