Join our client, a leading global manufacturer serving the Semiconductor and Healthcare industries, as a Material Director based in the Southern Region.

• Lead and oversee Materials Management, Procurement, and Inventory Control functions across multiple sites in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing, supplier management, and material planning initiatives to drive operational excellence.
• Manage demand forecasting, purchasing, and inventory optimization to ensure timely material availability for production and customer fulfillment.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, supplier scorecards, and cost improvement programs to enhance supply chain performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align material strategies with overall business and financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, sustainability goals, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of materials management professionals to strengthen organizational capability.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in materials or supply chain management within a contract manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and materials planning.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities with a proven ability to drive results.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively across functions.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, with contract manufacturing exposure highly preferred.
