Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in Science, Mathematics, and ICT. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster critical thinking, and support students in achieving their academic potential. This role also involves contributing to curriculum development, effective classroom management, and continuous professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver structured lessons in Science, Mathematics, and ICT in alignment with the school curriculum. Develop and implement lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials tailored to students' diverse learning abilities. Facilitate engaging and interactive lessons that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Oversee laboratory and ICT activities, ensuring safety, effective learning, and hands-on exploration. Assign projects, assignments, quizzes, mid-term, and final examinations, while maintaining accurate records of grades, assessments, and attendance. Monitor students' progress, identify underachievement, and implement appropriate intervention strategies. Apply effective classroom management using positive behavior strategies to maintain a productive learning environment. Support students in completing projects and encourage participation in academic competitions, exhibitions, or fairs. Assess student work in line with school assessment policies and provide constructive feedback. Report students' progress to parents and senior management as required. Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and enhance the overall teaching program. Manage, develop, and share resources for Science, Mathematics, and ICT to enhance teaching effectiveness. Attend staff meetings, workshops, training sessions, and contribute to curriculum reviews. Stay updated with current developments, teaching methodologies, and best practices in Science, Mathematics, and ICT education. Create a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (Science, Mathematics, ICT, or equivalent). Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a related subject area. Strong subject knowledge in Science, Mathematics, and ICT. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching.
Job Type: Full-time
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
