Job Description

Field Application Engineer will work on the design-in support activities on customer projects.
Principal activities are:
- Onsite / offsite technical support for design-in activities on STM GPM products including MCU and ecosystem questions, usage applications.
- To increase design funnel for STM32 Microcontrollers.
- Provide solutions to customer issues during design development.
- Working with Sales/Marketing teams to provide technical training to customers and Distributors.
- Able to develop basic demos/solution for local customer on need basis.
- Interact and support with required inputs for Cross functional regional teams.
- Embedded design background is preferred.
- Good to have experience on STM32 Microcontroller.

Profile

Candidate should be competent in the following areas:
- minimum Bachelor degree in Electronics or Microelectronics Engineering

5 years experience in electronic industry with MCUs design, or MCU FAE in Semiconductor industry.
- Good experience in handling lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Power supply, Multi-meter, Signalgenerator etc.) and debugging procedures.
- Good knowledge on ARM architecture , Programming skills on Embedded C for 32-bit MCUs( preferred : working experience on IAR , KEIL & STM32CubeIDE )
- Good debugging skills on embedded hardware and software is a must.
- Good understanding and working experience on protocols like USART/UART , CAN , USB ,SPI , I2C , Ethernet etc.
- It will be an advantage for the candidate to have basic / advanced knowledge on Linux, EV, IoT & cloud, Motor control.
- Good communication skills are mandatory.
- Good Problem solving approach to find the issue root cause.
