Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating M&E works between the main contractor, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring all works are carried out according to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
This role involves supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&E services for high-rise buildings, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with multi-level stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise building construction M&E services for the main contractor including liaising with clients and consultants
Check and inspect quality of M&E works to ensure compliance with requirements
Assist the Site Manager in resolving M&E issues
Conduct and lead M&E coordination meetings between the main contractor and subcontractor
Ensure to maintain and follow company's QHSE policy and procedures
Regularly report to the Project Manager on the progress of the building works and the problem areas encountered
Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the company from time to time.
Coordinate and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems on construction sites
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of M&E components into the overall construction process
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, method statements, and quality control records
Monitor and report on the progress of M&E works, identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, as well as environmental and sustainability best practices
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, as required
Requirement:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of solid experience in the building construction industry.
Must have experience in handling high-rise buildings.
Able to interest with multi-levels of management personnel within the organization and third parties such as clients, consultants and sub-contractors.
Responsible, disciplined, hardworking and a team player.
Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical installations, and building automation systems
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Proficient in the use of relevant software and technologies, such as AutoCAD, BIM, and project management tools
Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Job location will based in the Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
