Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and improve manufacturing processes for optical components (e.g., fiber cables, connectors, optical modules). Provide technical support to production teams to solve process and product issues. Set up, test, and maintain machines and tools used for optical assembly and alignment. Create and update work instructions, procedures, and documentation. Monitor product quality and process performance using inspection tools (e.g., microscopes, power meters). Support the introduction of new products into mass production (NPI). Analyze production data to improve yield, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency. Work closely with suppliers to ensure consistent quality of materials and parts. Ensure compliance with cleanroom, safety, and quality standards. Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or related field. Preferably 1-3 years in manufacturing, especially in electronics or optical components. Fresh graduates with relevant internship or laboratory experience are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates may be considered with strong technical interest. Knowledge of fiber optic products or optical alignment processes is an advantage. Familiarity with basic quality tools (e.g., SPC, 5 Why, Fishbone). Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions. Strong communication and coordination skills, as well as problem-solving abilities; basic listening and speaking skills in Mandarin are required.
