Job Description

To inspect incoming materials and equipments to ensure that all materials and equipments delivered are complying to contract specifications/approved samples/catalogues and inspection test plan To supervise and inspect all of the M&E works to ensure that all M&E works are complying to the contract specifications/contract drawings/approved shop drawings and other requirements To coordinate with other on going C&S and Architectural works to ensure proper sequencing and smooth execution of construction works To study M&E drawings/documents and highlight discrepancies, if any, to consultants and/or contractors for verification/confirmation Properly documenting and managing of all Testing &Commissioning/inspection records according to ISO and PQP procedures To identify all remedial/outstanding works to be carried out and to ensure that those works are carried out by the contractors within the time stipulated in the contracts To regularly report to the relevant Project Manager on the progress of the works and the problem areas encountered especially in respect of defective, outstanding or non-conforming works or delayed works Upon completion of work, to carry out final inspection and handovers including ensuring that all as-built drawings are prepared and a copy kept with the relevant Project Manager prior to issuance of certificate of practical completion Attend site and technical meetings and inspection, report regularly on progress and monitor schedule.
