Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on company vehicles/equipment (e.g., trucks, forklifts, excavators, dump truck etc)
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and hydraulic issues.
Conduct troubleshooting for engine problems, brake systems, gearbox, suspension, cooling systems, and basic electrical systems.
Ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with company safety standards and operating procedures.
Communicate with supervisors/managers regarding job status and spare parts requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of workshop tools and work areas.
Utilize workshop tools and equipment safely and report any damaged or faulty tools.
Assist with emergency breakdown repairs on-site when required.
Job Requirements
5 to 10 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanic.
Strong knowledge of diesel/petrol engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical repair work.
Good troubleshooting skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to read technical manuals and operate diagnostic tools (if applicable).
Physically fit and capable of performing heavy mechanical tasks.
Responsible, disciplined, and committed to meeting job deadlines.
Possess a valid driving license (GDL/Vocational license is an added advantage).
Experience in specific industries (e.g., quarry, construction, logistics, heavy machinery) is added advantage.
