Conceptualization and Design: Develop groundbreaking conceptual designs that push the boundaries of traditional engineering solutions. Create detailed mechanical designs using advanced CAD tools and simulation software. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to evaluate the viability of innovative design concepts.
Prototyping and Test Validation: Design and develop prototypes using advanced techniques to test and validate innovative concepts. Explore and experiment with new materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies to improve product performance and functionality.
Documentation: Create comprehensive design documentation, including product trees, drawings, machine specifications, user manuals, BOM lists, SOPs, and work instructions, ensuring clarity for innovative designs.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs meet internal and industry standards while seeking opportunities to set new benchmarks in engineering excellence. Take part in design reviews to identify improvements and ensure designs are ready for the future.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into innovative design solutions. Present visionary design proposals and progress updates, showcasing the value of innovative approaches.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with electrical, software, sales, and operations teams to support multidisciplinary projects.
Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate platforms for sharing innovative ideas, experiences, information and insights across the organization.
Accountability and Ownership: Take ownership of innovative projects, from ideation to execution, ensuring they align with organizational goals. Address challenges with creative problem-solving, delivering both short term fixes and long-term innovative solutions.
Requirements
At least
3.5 years
ofmechanical design experience
Capable of designing machine from scratch
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project-related issues.
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
A recognized engineering Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Product design or equivalent.
