The Mechanical Design Engineering II is responsible for performing engineering activities to deliver custom and engineered or made to order solutions for customers. This role works closely with project team and senior engineers to ensure engineering solutions meet customer requirements, project schedule, and budget.

This position is part of Pall\xe2\x80\x99s Global Process Engineering group Vessels team and will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in a hybrid capacity, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Generate designs which meets customer specifications and offers safe and reliable/robust design which is easy to manufacture/operate and maintain.
• Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety and functionality are met in accordance with the customer requirements and current legislation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Good understanding of mechanical design principals relating to pressure vessels, hydraulic and process systems as per international standards
• Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/ casting and sealing mechanisms\xe2\x80\x8b.
• Ability to multi-task\xe2\x80\x8b
• Fluent English
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or experience in a relevant discipline.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Minimum 2 years\' experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels products or equivalent.
