A Drafter is a skilled professional who collaborates with mechanical engineers, using solid work CAD software to create detailed drawings. They calculate dimensions, describe production, and ensure compliance with regulations. Expertise in 3D modeling and math skills are essential.

\xc2\xb7 Liaising with mechanical engineers to gather design requirements and designs.

\xc2\xb7 Calculating dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials

\xc2\xb7 Describing production methods step-by-step (including equipment and software types to be used)

\xc2\xb7 Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software.

\xc2\xb7 Design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate workflow.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team.

\xc2\xb7 Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.

\xc2\xb7 Create manuals that describe existing products\' operation, features, and maintenance.

Requirements and skills

\xc2\xb7 Reporting to HQ in Singapore.

\xc2\xb7 To support corporate strategic direction to drive business performance.

\xc2\xb7 Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role.

\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with 3D modeling tools.

\xc2\xb7 Good math skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to meet deadlines.

\xc2\xb7 BSc in Engineering, Architecture, or degree from a technical college.

• Good communication skills, both written & verbal fluency in English.
