Job Description

The M&E Technician is responsible for driving maintenance programs (including routine inspection, corrective and preventive activities) with a focus on system reliability, with the application of Best Practices and wide range of engineering principles and practices to: . Implement mandatory routine inspections in conformance to Standard Operating Procedures and reliability governance. . Support emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring on facilities system performance, critical parameters and loading. . Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring on facilities system performance, critical parameters and loading. . Facilitate and administer reliability improvement projects including isolation and Testing and Commissioning, and other experimental simulations. . Interface directly with clients to identify and analyse critical needs, define problems, and develop specifications to guide the solution process. Risk Management . Implement risk assessment which identifies operational risks including occupational health and safety, fire safety and essential services and environmental. Profitability and Savings Initiatives . Drive initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement. Energy Conservation and Innovation . Support initiatives and strategies for energy conservation with feasibility assessment, cost, optimization, and engineering analyses. Customer Service and Client Relationships . Ensure feedback from client are recorded and action taken to the satisfaction of the end user. Lead by example in achieving maximum client satisfaction level. Reporting . Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all information reported associated with Daily Shift Ops Report, Weekly MRM Report, Monthly Report, Risk Assessment, BAR, Maximo PM Closure and other imperative updates.
