Client Background: Manufacturing Industry : Automotive Location: Senai, Johor Headcount: 1 Position Title : Mechanical Engineer Tenure: Permanent Remuneration: RM3,000 - RM4,500 Responsibilities 1. Product Design and Development: . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications. . Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models, simulations, and engineering drawings. . Conduct feasibility studies and provide input into the selection of materials and manufacturing processes. 2. Testing and Validation: . Plan and execute testing protocols to validate the performance, durability, and safety of mechanical components. . Analyse test data, identify issues, and collaborate with the team to implement design improvements. . Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 3. Project Management: . Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that engineering milestones are achieved on schedule. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate prototype builds, testing, and final product implementation. . Provide regular project updates to stakeholders. 4. Continuous Improvement: . Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. . Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of new engineering methodologies Requirement . Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field . Strong academic background and a passion for automotive engineering. . Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and a willingness to learn. . Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. . Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. . Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). . Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
