Job Description

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A master\'s degree or professional certification is advantageous.
• Relevant 1-2 years working experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of mechanical principles and systems.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of additional languages can be beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for new products or systems.
• Use CAD software to create and modify design models and drawings.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design performance and reliability.
• Plan and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, production staff, and suppliers.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and results.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in production equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct testing of mechanical systems and components to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality.
• Provide technical support for mechanical systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure long-term reliability of equipment.
