Job Description
:
The PROTEGE - Mechanical Engineer will assist the engineering team in planning, implementing, and monitoring mechanical and facility-related maintenance activities. The role provides hands-on exposure to hospital support services, including HVAC systems and other mechanical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance works. Support engineers in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical system breakdowns. Monitor the performance and condition of mechanical systems to ensure efficiency and compliance. Prepare and update maintenance reports, technical documentation, and inspection checklists. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other departments for smooth project execution. Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards in all activities. Gain exposure to contract management, project documentation, and client coordination.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (PROTEGE Programme). Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn. Good communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
