About the role:

As a

Mechanical Engineer

, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production equipment within the manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting process optimization efforts to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

This role requires close collaboration with the production, quality, and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement technical solutions, and maintain high standards of safety and product quality. Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all production equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:

Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to maintain equipment reliability.

Equipment Installation & Calibration:

Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify root causes of issues and propose improvement actions.

Process & Productivity Improvement:

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to enhance equipment efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety & Documentation:

Ensure all maintenance work follows safety regulations and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Requirements

Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field. At least minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or engineering within a manufacturing environment. Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin to liaise with internal teams and external vendors. Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical troubleshooting. Familiar with preventive maintenance systems, machine calibration, and root cause analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and technically skilled in ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing performance, and supporting production efficiency through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
