Job Description

Product Design Engineer study, research and develop ideas for new products and put into mass production. Modify existing products or processes to increase efficiency or improve performance and cost efficiency.

Initiate and lead enhancements of new project and enhancement in equipment, processes and system integration.

What You Will Do

• Architect and design mechanical solutions by analyzing the performance and feasibility of multiple alternative concepts and feasibility studies.
• Experience in developing prototype units by resource selection, components, procuring or fabricating models and assembly.
• Ability to engineer, implement and verify the mechanical design of parts, components, integration system and assemblies in 2D or 3D CADs.
• Present their work and interact with cross functional project teams on options to mechanical design concepts.
• Execute mechanical design verification test plans per requirements specifications to ensure prototypes meet design requirements.
• Support the development and assembly of prototypes by providing documentation, drawings, BOM, costing in timely manner.
• Ability to manage themselves to predefined project schedules and deliverables.

What You Will Bring

• Bach. Degree in or Master Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering.
• At least 3 year(s) experience in product design and development in engineering within manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in engineering calculations, analysis and simulation tools will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in using CAD software Creo or Solidworks or AutoCAD.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
