Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC units, pumps, compressors, piping, fire suppression systems, and station/depot equipment. Install and assemble mechanical components and systems as per construction drawings and method statements. Perform mechanical inspections and functional checks to ensure systems meet required specifications and standards. Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical faults or breakdowns. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematic diagrams, and maintenance manuals. Assist in testing & commissioning activities when required by the project phase. Maintain accurate maintenance records, daily reports, and equipment history logs. Ensure all works are performed safely, complying with project safety regulations and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to support overall project or maintenance objectives.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

,

Mechatronics

, or a

related technical field

from a recognized institution.

Experience:

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Candidates with

1-2 years of experience

in mechanical installation or maintenance in rail, infrastructure, or construction projects will have an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of mechanical systems such as

HVAC, plumbing, fire protection

, or

mechanical plant equipment

. Able to use standard mechanical tools and measuring instruments. Able to

read and understand basic mechanical drawings

and maintenance procedures. Awareness of safety practices related to mechanical work.

Other Competencies:

Willingness to learn and work under supervision. Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills. Physically fit and willing to work in site, tunnel, or depot environments. Willing to work

shifts, weekends

, or

extended hours

based on project needs. Positive attitude and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced project environment. Willing to work for 6 days a week.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 48 months

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,700.00 per month
