Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on

Mechanical Technician

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient plant or facility operations.

This role requires strong teamwork, a proactive attitude, and the flexibility to work on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Support installation and testing of new machinery or systems. Work closely with other technicians and departments to resolve operational issues. Adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply). Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Willing to work on

rotational shifts

(day/night). Able to work effectively in a

team environment

. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
