- To assist in ensuring that all Governmental legislation on Safety and Environmental and Human Resource requirements is strictly conformed to at all times.
- To promote a safe work environment within the work area.
- To plan, execute, measure and ensure the achievement of all goals and targets as set by the Head of Department/Manager and Top Management.
- To ensure the availability of appropriate material characterization, capability to support the process and product analysis.
- To draw up relevant test or research and develop new analytical or material characterization techniques.
- To execute the tests with proper care, taking into consideration proper SOC/SOP and safety considerations.
- To do a proper analysis of the data obtained with the use of the statistical tools and to propose new tests / countermeasures to solve the problem.
- To perform electrical and physical failure analysis, prepare formal analysis report for manufacturing and customer issues.
- To support the production, QC and other technical personnel to troubleshoot persistent quality problems by isolating the probable root cause and determination of failure mechanism.
- To constantly self improve on skills and knowledge in the physical/chemical structure, properties and behavior of engineering materials in order to provide technical expertise with respect to material characterization and failure analysis by reading, attending courses/seminar and discussion.
- To guide, train and up-grade knowledge and skills of technicians/subordinates under care.
- To demonstrate the continuous effort to improve operation, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless service.
- To uphold the discipline level within the work area at all times by ensuring strict adherence to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s employment terms and conditions, rules, policies and practices. To take the necessary disciplinary action according to the company\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct when a breach occurs.
- To occasionally perform any other related tasks as the HOD/Manager or the Top Management may deem suitable.
