Our team is dedicated to providing cutting-edge innovative Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Solutions in Malaysia and we engage with government and private hospitals to fulfill their requests and improve patient wellbeing. We import/export pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and diagnostic kits from/to other countries and also developed Early Access Programs / Patient Assistance Programs for Innovative Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Companies from other countries namely European Union, USA, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India. Role Description A Medical & Clinical Associate (MCA) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between pharmaceutical or medical device companies and healthcare professionals. MCAs are experts in a specific therapeutic area and serve as a key link in facilitating communication between the scientific community and the organization they represent. Their primary focus is on building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers. Scientific Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area, products, and relevant medical literature. Stay updated on advancements in medical science, competitor products, and emerging treatment trends. KOL Engagement: Identify, establish, and foster relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and researchers. Organize and participate in scientific advisory boards, expert meetings, and other forums to gather insights and share scientific information. Education and Training: Provide scientific and clinical education to healthcare professionals through presentations, one-on-one interactions, and training sessions. Address inquiries from healthcare providers regarding product information, clinical studies, and relevant scientific data. Medical Communication: Develop and deliver scientific presentations at conferences, symposia, and other scientific events. Create and update scientific materials, including slide decks, white papers, and publications. Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze market intelligence, competitor activities, and treatment landscape to inform internal stakeholders. Provide feedback to the organization on emerging trends and unmet medical needs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, marketing, clinical development, and regulatory affairs to align scientific strategies. Contribute to the development of medical and scientific strategies for product launches and life cycle management. Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. Stay informed about relevant guidelines, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Professional Development: Continuously update knowledge and skills through self-directed learning, attending conferences, and participating in relevant training programs. Qualifications Education : Bachelor\'s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biology, or Doctor of Medicine. Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with medical professionals and patients. Research skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data to support medical operations. Medicine skills: A background in medicine and understanding of medical processes and terminology. Presentation skills: Ability to do public speaking and presentations. Healthcare skills: Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulations Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry would be an added advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office or interest in working in digital environment. People person and good networking skills. Proactive and positive attitude.
