Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Shah Alam for a Medical Sales Representative at Teraju Pharma Group. The representative will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and pharmacists, to promote our products and services. The representative will also conduct presentations and product demonstrations and be responsible for creating and executing sales plans to meet or exceed targets. Medical Sales Representative (Hospital/GP) - Klang Valley w/ Outstation Coverage The Medical Representative plays a vital role in promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. This position involves building strong relationships with customers, providing product information, and driving sales within the assigned territory. The Medical Representative represents the distributor, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets and contributing to the company\'s growth. Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and clinics, within the assigned territory. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their inquiries, providing product information, and offering appropriate solutions to meet their needs. Territory Management: Effectively manage the assigned territory, including planning and organizing daily activities, customer visits, and call cycles to maximize sales opportunities and coverage. Product Knowledge and Promotion: Develop a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical products in the distributor\'s portfolio, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Conduct product presentations, training, and demonstrations to healthcare professionals. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the assigned territory. Collect market intelligence and provide feedback to the distributor regarding market dynamics and customer preferences. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets by actively promoting products, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing effective sales strategies. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market insights. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, territory coverage, and customer feedback. Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to industry regulations, distributor policies, and ethical standards during all interactions with customers and stakeholders. Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry, attend training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and industry awareness. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure smooth operations, effective customer support, and overall business success. Requirements: Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred. A relevant diploma or certification may be considered. Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Representative or Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field is mandatory. Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, their therapeutic uses, and the ability to effectively communicate product information to healthcare professionals. Sales and Relationship Building Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport, establish trust, and influence customers. Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets. Territory Management: Proven ability to effectively manage an assigned territory, including planning and organizing activities, prioritizing customers, and optimizing time and resources. This position is based in Klang Valley but is required to travel outstation on a monthly basis to designated outstation territory.
