Job Title: Memory Design Engineer - Advanced SRAM & Memory Compiler IP

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

About the Role

We are seeking a Memory Design Engineer to develop advanced SRAM memories and compiler-based IP for leading-edge technology nodes. You will design high?performance, low?power SRAM macros, optimize circuits across PPA targets, and collaborate closely with CAD, layout, and SoC teams to deliver production?quality memory IP.

Key Responsibilities

Design SP/DP SRAMs, register files, and ROM for advanced FinFET nodes Develop bitcell and periphery circuits, addressing timing, power, and architecture needs Perform schematic design, SPICE simulation, corner/Monte Carlo analysis, and optimization Own timing/power characterization and generate Liberty, LEF, CDL and verification views Work with layout teams on bitcell, periphery, and compiler topology implementation Define memory signoff methodologies including Vmin, margin analysis, and sense?amp robustness Collaborate with SoC/IP teams on requirements, integration, and debug Work with CAD teams on compiler flows, automation, parameterization, and QA Support silicon characterization and correlation to improve models and design practices

Minimum Qualifications

MS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent Strong background in custom SRAM and register?file design Deep understanding of bitcell operation, margins, Vmin, and sense?amp design SPICE simulation experience across DC/AC/transient/variability analyses Experience with timing/power characterization and Liberty model generation Familiarity with FinFET technologies at 16nm and below Proficiency with custom design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and physical verification flows Strong analytical skills and clear communication ability

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing memory compilers including redundancy and parameterized architectures Knowledge of NVM or emerging memories is a plus Scripting experience (Python/Perl) Experience collaborating with foundries or customers on IP bring?up and characterization
