Mendix Developer

is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the

Mendix low-code platform

. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and other developers to translate requirements into functional applications, ensure code quality, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Mendix low-code platform.

Requirement Gathering:

Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and developers to understand and translate requirements into system functionalities.

Code Quality:

Ensure the development and maintenance of high-quality, efficient, and reliable code.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues within applications.

Testing:

Participate in application testing, debugging, and deployment processes.

Integration:

Integrate Mendix applications with other systems, including legacy platforms and external services.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application design and development processes.

Collaboration:

Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure stability and efficiency.

Business Solutions:

Deliver innovative business solutions leveraging Mendix capabilities.

Technical Skills:

Mendix Platform:

Proficient in Mendix Studio Pro and Mendix Studio.

Programming Languages:

Knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Database Systems:

Experience with SQL databases and data modeling.

APIs and Integrations:

Skilled in API development and integration using REST, SOAP, and related protocols.

UI/UX:

Good understanding of user interface and user experience best practices.

Agile and DevOps:

Familiar with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Additional Considerations:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience working with the Mendix platform.

Certifications:

Mendix certification is preferred but not mandatory.
