Job Description


  • Design and initiate ideas during product development process
  • Working closely with suppliers/vendors to ensure swift response and timely resolution on any issues;
  • Timely deliveries and specifications of products ordered are met to our standards
  • Liaise with suppliers on shipment schedules, process shipping documents
  • Create and manage purchase orders and pro-forma invoices
  • Manage all import and export matter
  • Source/Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in engagement for new business
2. Analyzing sales trend and stock level. Review of monthly sales report in order to maximize sales opportunity

  • Analyzing past order history and sales patterns to predict future order trends
  • Conducting annual product training
3. Conduct market competition research and market price analysis

  • Analyze competition and local trends and identify key opportunities for growth
  • Research on trends and share ideas with team
4. Constant communication with cross functional team to effectively ensure smooth execution of duties and timely resolution of any issues

  • Working closely with accounts team on payment matters
  • Working closely with operations team on ensure merchandising directions are met
  • Collaborating with Marketing Department to brainstorm new projects, campaigns and business ideas.
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes or clear outs in order to maximise profit.

; Requirements: -

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Advanced/Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, Professional Degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related field.
  • Min 5 years experiences in merchandising/ purchasing in retail industry.
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred, as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
  • Computer literate and proficiency in MS Office, MAC, Adobe Design-related software
  • Possess strong fashion sense and market sensitivity
  • Strong planning and organization skills to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Dynamic, highly self-motivated, meticulous and good team player with positive work attitude
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize time and prioritize responsibilities and multi-task.
  • Possess own transport and able to work under minimum supervision
