Job Description

We are looking for a passionate

Merchandising Executive

to support our retail business by ensuring our products are well-stocked, well-presented, and visible to customers across key retail partners. This role will involve working with retailers, account management, and support marketing campaign.

Key Responsibilities:



Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor stock levels, ensure timely replenishment, liaise with supply chain, and flag slow-moving SKUs.

In-Store Merchandising

- Coordinate POSM delivery & placement, support planogram execution, and conduct store visits for compliance checks.

Channel & Account Support

- Assist BDM in managing retail accounts (Watsons, Guardian, Tesco, AEON, etc.) and prepare materials for meetings/reviews.

Sales Data & Reporting

- Analyze sales data, prepare sell-in/sell-out reports, and highlight underperforming products.

Promotion & Campaign Support

- Assist in planning promotions, sampling, and offers; track campaign effectiveness and ensure smooth execution.

Administrative & System Tasks

- Maintain product listings & SKU databases, process promotional claims/invoices, and handle SKU submissions.

Product Launch & Activation

- Support new product rollouts, coordinate sampling to buyers/promoters, and ensure visibility materials are in place.

Competitor & Market Intelligence

- Monitor competitor activity, capture in-store observations, and support market scan reports.

Communication & Liaison

- Serve as a key contact point for retailers, internal departments, and external vendors.

Ad Hoc Support

- Assist in trade fairs, roadshows, brand activations, and preparation of presentation materials.

Requirements

:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related fields. 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, trade marketing, or retail operations (FMCG experience preferred). Fresh graduates with strong internships will be considered. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales data and generate reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP or retail systems is a plus. Good organizational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to conduct in-store visits.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
