Job Description

Work Responsibilities:



Product Strategy & Planning



Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability. Conduct market and customer trend analysis to define product assortment and pricing.

Vendor & Inventory Management



Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms. Oversee stock levels across outlets and warehouses to ensure availability and avoid overstocking. Manage purchasing budgets and contracts.

Sales & Performance Tracking



Monitor sales performance and take corrective action to meet category targets. Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to management.

Daily Operations & Documentation



Supervise purchasing, stock transfers, warranty returns, and documentation processes. Ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies with tax or receiving records.

Team Leadership



Lead and train a merchandising team to ensure efficient daily operations. Set KPIs and support team development and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Work closely with marketing, IT, store teams, and supply chain for product launches, system improvements, and customer experience enhancements.

Innovation & Customer Focus



Introduce new product innovations that meet evolving customer needs. Ensure merchandising and displays align with brand image and customer expectations.

Reporting & Analysis



Generate reports on inventory, sell-in/sell-out performance, and category trends. Present data-driven recommendations to improve operations and retail performance.

Work Requirements:



Diploma/Degree in Merchandising, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Strong knowledge of inventory, procurement, and distribution processes. Experience leading a team in a retail or merchandising environment. Proficient in retail systems, POS, and inventory software. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. High sense of urgency and business acumen.
