The Merchant Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in expanding our merchant base by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new merchants. This position requires a proactive and target-oriented individual with strong communication and negotiation skills. You will be responsible for identifying potential business partners, presenting our solutions, and nurturing relationships to drive merchant acquisition. Job Responsibilities Conduct market research to identify potential merchant targets and opportunities. Develop a prospect list and initiate contact with potential merchants. Identify key decision-makers within target organizations. Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations to introduce our products and services to prospective merchants. I.e., E-vouchers, digital campaigns, member benefits. communicate unique benefits and value propositions of our solutions. Address merchant inquiries and concerns effectively. Achieve and exceed acquisition targets and sales goals. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with acquired merchants. Provide ongoing support and address merchant needs as they arise. Gather feedback and insights from merchants regarding our products and services. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Share insights with the team to enhance our merchant acquisition strategies. Job Requirements Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition. Prior experience in e-wallet or food delivery company is a plus. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Results-driven and self-motivated. Knowledge of the local brick and mortar market is a plus.
